We are pleased to hear the recent update on Nima and Dawa’s successful transition and their journey through this phase. As they land in Bhutan at this time, we couldn’t be more proud for the support and the love everyone showered to them. In particular, we would like to thank our community members here in Perth who helped raise a total fund of $10,451.00 ($5200-sent to Druk Melbourne Association who presented the donation to Nima and Dawa, $5251-sent to Bhutan for the joint account of Nima and Dawa and $12 TRANSFER FEE). This was made available to our community members and we would once again like to thank you for your constant support and your core love in what we can do together.
The ABPI in collaboration with Bhutanese Associations across Australia coordinated to raise donation for Nima and Dawa close to $30,000. We created a wechat forum titled Bhutan-Australia Leaders Group where we discussed various issues pertaining to this and came to a common ground to donate certain fund to Children First Foundation, Nima and Dawa’s parents, and to the Bhutanese nurse who helped accompany Nima, Dawa and their mother. Certificate and letters presented are enclosed herewith again for your kind information.
Last but not the least, we thank the former ABPI Executive Team of 2018 for their leadership and excellence in coordinating this important event. Thank you to Pema Choejey Karma Wangchuk Wangchuk Loday Younten Jamtsho Sangay Dorji Chimi Tshewang Chimi Tshewang Sonam NorbuTsebar Tashi sherab zangmo
