Celebrating 111th National Day of Bhutan.
ABPI is delighted to inform our Bhutanese fraternity that the 111th National Day of Bhutan will be celebrated on December 16, 2018 in Perth, WA.
We are planning to organize this National Day a bit differently from the past years. One thing that will be unique from the past is the inclusion of social activities such as tug-of-war between suburbs, musical chair for guests, balloon-blast for kids and mask dances performed by Paetseling monks. In addition, prizes and awards for the winners will be given to encourage and attract maximum participation from the audience.
However, organizing this event successfully will incur substantial expenses. Our experiences from the past events suggest that ABPI will need about $15,000 to foot the bills for various activities including hiring of venue and facilities for the event.
As ABPI is a member-driven, not-for-organization, and given our current financial position, it will be a challenge for the ABPI to generate the required fund for the event within short span of time.
Therefore, ABPI humbly request every Bhutanese community members to contribute any amount (no amount limit set) to the ABPI for the celebration of the national day. Please donate your contribution to ABPI Account:
The tentative program list for event is attached for your kind information.
Updates on venue and further information shall be made through our social media and website. Please stay abreast on the information.
We hope that every Bhutanese will come forward to support us and make this event a grand success. For more details, please visit our website.
